Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Creative Sewing Collaborator to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality dancewear garments, ensuring precise construction, and enhancing designs with embellishments. Your expertise will help bring vibrant, durable, and beautifully finished dance costumes to life, inspiring confidence and performance for dancers of all levels. All materials are provided including fabric, trims, embellishments and order instructions.

This is an exciting contract, per-project opportunity for an experienced sewing professional who is creative and enjoys craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.

Compensation: Per garment, based on complexity and experience. Typical monthly earnings currently range from $400–800, with opportunities to earn more as order volume increases.

This position is ideal for a candidate with experience in dancewear, bridal, couture, theatrical costumes, or other specialty garments.

Candidates must have their own existing sewing machines and tools to complete screening interview process.

Remote applicants within the United States are welcome. Must feel comfortable receiving and shipping garments and communicating through email and video when needed.

Our office is located in South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Construct custom garments using existing Tango With Love designs & silhouettes and measurements provided.
• Apply rhinestones, crystals, appliqués, and decorative trims with precision and creativity.
• Maintaining couture-level attention to detail and consistent quality.
• Work independently while communicating clearly throughout the production process.
• Meet agreed-upon production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.

Skills

• Proficiency in using measuring instruments for precise fabric and garment measurements.
• Skilled in garment construction techniques using single needle and zig zag stitch, overlock stitch.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines, sergers, professional domestic sewing machines.
• Advanced sewing experience with stretch fabrics. such as Lycra, mesh, stretch lace, stretch velvet, and performance elastics.
• Knowledge of application of rhinestones, crystals, appliqués, and decorative trims with precision and creativity.
• Strong attention to detail and garment finishing.
• Ability to work independently and offer creative output.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
• Experience working with ballroom dressmaking, skating costumes, swimwear production is a plus.
